At the Farmstand this week: 7/14-7/18: Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, fennel, cheddar cauliflower, Desiree red new potatoes, cabbage (red, green & savoy), romaine lettuce, Bacon avocados, red butter lettuce, lacinato kale, Scotch kale, green onion, golden beets, Red Ace beets, carrots, chard (red, white & golden), collards, Purplette cocktail onions, & Tokyo turnips. Oh yeah, and add bok choi.
On the home front, my pink Italian pole beans are looking good, and my zucchini is looking even better. I have also used some of the nasturtium leaves in salad. Really interesting peppery flavor — a bit like horseradish.
Oh — and I have found the forage cache to beat all forage caches of bush tucker (New Zealand Spinach) EVER!
