damn, i missed the chanterelles

It’s good to know that Redman House Farmstand/High Ground Organics in Watsonville is open through winter, even if I haven’t gotten over there lately (since I’ve been intensively caring for my disabled–but recovering–dog), and even if winter seems to have been replaced by a way-too-early spring.

Anyway, for the week of 2/5-2/6 this is what they had: Eggs, courtesy of Surfside Chickens, Chanterelle mushrooms, cauliflower, artichokes, romanesco, dried Candy Cap mushrooms, celery, fennel, cilantro, Lacinato kale, Chantenay carrots, Hass avocados, red & green cabbage, red & golden beets, collards. Located right off Highway 1 in Watsonville at Riverside Dr., next to the Chevron Station.
