Hollister Farmers Market takes up 2 blocks in the downtown area, an alley, and part of a park. It’s a good one. But frankly, one of the best qualities of the market in Hollister is the weather. It seems almost constantly sunny and warm there–just a few miles inland from the coastal fog.

We bought some “Asian greens” and mustard greens at this stand, and cooked them with black-eyed peas, onions, and bacon from the Corralitos meat market.
